Q0007 – Master data reset

Summary:

In various situations, the master data is not synchronized with SAP and the ComplianceNow application server(s).

There can be several reasons for this:

• SAP has been refreshed with data from another SAP system/client, causing changes to the master data.

• There have been connection issues between SAP and the ComplianceNow application server.

• The master data transfer job has failed.

• Application errors on the ComplianceNow server have caused the master data to become faulty.

• Other unspecified issues.

Solution:

To correct the master data on the ComplianceNow application server, please perform the following steps:

Step 1

Execute program: /APPLISOL/APMUM_URT_RESET

This is done to delete the content of the temporary ComplianceNow-specific URT tables in SAP and trigger the deletion of the corresponding tables on the ComplianceNow application server.

Step 2

Execute program: /APPLISOL/APMUM_URT_COLLECTOR

This is done to transfer the master data from SAP and fill the temporary ComplianceNow-specific tables. This initial execution of the URT collector might run for longer than normal due to the large amount of data being collected.

It is also possible to let the scheduled job perform this initial data transfer as part of the normal nightly job. In this case, make sure to run the /APPLISOL/APMUM_URT_RESET program approximately an hour before running the regular nightly scheduled job.
Note that during the time between the two jobs, no master data is present on the ComplianceNow application server.
